Higher Ed Happy Hour
The Higher Ed Happy Hour series are informal happy hour events traditionally held at an off campus location and provide opportunities for social interaction and professional networking. The Coffee & Conversation series are regional events held at an on-campus location and offer opportunities for professional development, conversation and networking. Virtual Lunch & Learn
The Virtual Lunch & Learn series is an online interactive webinar where individuals can learn about various topics from professionals across New York state. The first of this series focuses on the job search process, allowing candidates to get advice on preparing for conferences, the do's and don'ts of the job search, and how to transition to your new job. Join us for a Twitter Chat once a month to virtually connect with other CSPA-NYS members and a facilitator leads participants in a discussion on a timely topic. Participate by following the CSPA-NYS Twitter handle, search for #cspanyschat on the day and time of the Chat and be sure to add the hashtag to any of the responses to questions that you tweet. Even if you have never participated in a Twitter chat, we review the guidelines before we get started so join us and learn from your CSPA-NYS colleagues!
Writer's Workshop Series
The CSPA-NYS Writer’s Workshop is designed for professionals and scholars at all levels, whether you are a graduate student or aspiring scholar practitioner who would like to publish.
