 Welcome to the CSPA-NYS Webpage!

The College Student Personnel Association of New York State, Inc. (CSPA-NYS) is one of the most active ACPA state divisions, it is one of the two oldest. CSPA-NYS  has the distinction of being the first chartered division of ACPA.

 Mission of CSPA-NYS

The College Student Personnel Association of New York State, Inc. is committed to advancing the knowledge, and personal and professional development of a diverse group of student affairs educators on public and independent Colleges and Universities through state and regional involvement.  People engaged in or preparing for student affairs careers are encouraged to actively participate in CSPA-NYS.

What other membership benefits does CSPA-NYS provide?

• Statewide Newsletter -The newsletter is published four times a year during each season.  The newsletter shares new ideas, principles and trends in student affairs throughout New York.  In addition, it is a primary source of information sharing with the membership.  Submissions to the newsletter are welcome from anyone.
  
• Regional Activities and Drive-in Conferences - These activities include such things as socials and newsletters as well as opportunities for professional development through things like teleconferences and day-long drive-in conferences.  
  
• Annual Conference -The annual state-wide conference brings together student affairs practitioners with diverse areas of interest and varying levels of experience to share resources, exchange ideas and renew professional commitments.
  
• Membership Directory -This directory is published annually and lists all of the members who have their membership dues paid.  This information published includes name, address, business phone and e-mail address.
